One of the simplest ways to use essential oils is aromatically. My favorite way to do that is by using an essential oil diffuser. With a diffuser you need just a few drops of essential oils to fill your room with the aromatic benefits of the oils you’re using.
You can diffuse essential oils for a number of purposes:
- Focus and concentration
- Soothing anxious feelings
- Promoting restful sleep
- Purifying the air and reducing odors
Those are just a few reasons I diffuse essential oils in my home and today I want to share a great blend with you for relaxation. The beautiful thing about using essential oils aromatically is that it’s really, really easy.
Basically, you take the cap off your oils and add a few drops to your diffuser. If your diffuser takes water, add that, too (follow the instructions for your diffuser). That’s it! Just turn it on and enjoy the delicious smell.
Now for that relaxation blend.
Relaxation Diffuser Blend
To your diffuser add:
- 2 drops lavender essential oil
- 2 drops wild orange essential oil
- 1 drop frankincense essential oil
I recommend using this blend when you’re feeling a little stressed or you just need a little pick-me-up. It’s also great to diffuse while you’re taking a nice bath.
